The engine in this car is a twin turbocharged MBR Hemi. It had almost 15 passes on it this weekend, and the valve lash was rock solid each time the covers came off. Multiple times, it was on the limiter, 2 step, 3 step, and buzzed out the back over 9200 rpm at 30+psi of boost. That is a happy valvetrain. I selected a pair of low shock lobes, and Comp Cams ground them on the custom tool steel core. I do not get into the social media battles about cam designs, but I do hold my own when choosing the correct grind for a combination.
